'What a fantastic hotel! I travelled to Maui with my husband and two children aged 5 & 8. Upton arrival the valet helped with our bags, gave the children and us gorgeous necklaces and check-in was quick! I didn’t like that the room we received was such a stretch to walk to so came back and the really helpful manager, despite being almost at full capacity moved us to a higher room category with a beautiful partial ocean view. 'The Grand Wailea is more than grand! You will not regret going there, unless you are a constantly angry, miserable soul. Even then, I believe the Grand Wailea can sweep those miseries away. Is it expensive, yes. Is it worth it, absolutely.'

'Het was een prima complex. We hadden 2 verschillende kamers omdat we tussendoor een nachtje in Hana waren. De 2e kamer vonden we minder, het was een upgrade volgens de vrouw bij de receptie maar zo voelde het niet. In de aparte slaapkamer stond de airo naast je hoofd, niet te doen. Verder genoten van ons verblijf en van Maui. Erg om nu de nieuwsberichten te lezen over alle branden. '

'This is an older but clean property. While it could benefit from some updating, it is well kept. It reminded me of the 1980s in many ways, but that also reflects the reasonable cost. Easy access to the beach. Near many great facilities and quiet. The staff including front desk, cleaning crew, and grounds people were nice.'

'Het hotel ziet er heel nieuw uit. Mooie grote lobby. Snelle liften. Groot zwembad met veel ligbedden en mooi gelegen om ‘s avonds de zonsondergang te bekijken. Bar met vriendelijk personeel. Goede gym. Ontbijt inbegrepen. Enkel wel last van de hongerige vogeltjes bij het ontbijt, maar dat komt ook door het open karakter van de ontbijtzaal.'

'Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was disappointing. The breakfast was very poor, both in quality and service, and the staff at breakfast did not feel welcoming or attentive. In addition, the man at the front desk was not friendly or helpful. In my opinion, this hotel is only suitable if you plan to spend most of your time outside exploring and just need a place to sleep. 'Absolutely charming. Gracious owners with little lovable pups. Gorgeous shared spaces and calming private rooms that feel like being nestled in a tropical treehouse. We loved it!'

'This was a beautiful villa across the street from the grand wailea. Booking included full use of the resort, which was excellent. Included was a shuttle service with uber-like app that we could use to go anywhere within a 1 mile radius. This was a great stay'

'Net hotel met fijne kamers. Ontbijt was goed, Tevita "the breakfast guy" doet goed zijn werk en is erg aardig! Zwembad en jacuzzi zijn helaas al vroeg dicht waardoor we er geen gebruik van hebben kunnen maken.'

'Nona Lani Cottages are cute cottages in a wonderfull garden setting. The beach is just across the road. The owner is a lovely lady who is friendly and very helpfull. I like that it is a local business and not part a big company. If you are looking for privacy, amazing flowers, and some nice relaxing time, the cottages are a great choice. '

'Net hotel met comfortabele kamers, lekker bij het strand gelegen. Op loopafstand diverse restaurant en voorzieningen. De kamers zijn aan de kleine kant, maar dit ligt ook aan het type dat je reserveerd.'

'Pros: Biggest plus at this condo was location -- steps from the beach, dining, shops, etc. One bedroom condo was also very clean when we arrived, well supplied, and spacious. Great pool, especially midday when everyone is at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of tp. Condo was quiet and beautiful landscaping provides a lot of privacy. Cons: No view so we did not spend time on the lanai. Water filter needs replacing; no through the door chilled water while we were there....
