"A small resort, a little back from the main road and beach, but absolutely charming. The main road with all the shops and restaurants is about a 5 minute walk. The resort itself is small, around 24 rooms, therefor it is quiet and peaceful. People with children enjoy this place very much. The resorts consists of small 2-story buildings situated around a big pool and gorgeous landscaping. Many palm trees and an abundance of flowers line the pool as wel as excellent loungers. On one side of the pool is the office building with the reception and the breakfast restaurant above it. The rooms are nicely decorated with a great bathroom. All is very clean and meticulously maintained. The staff really take pride in their work. Breakfast is very decent with Vietnamese, Asian and Western dishes. The quality is very good and the personnel is again great. In general I will say that the personnel go out of their way to accommodate you. If you need something: just ask. Many times you will even be invited to have tea with the lovely owner of this resort. However: unless you are fluent in Vietnamese: Google Translate is required. But you will enjoy the local atmosphere. This hotel is absolutely recommended."

"This is our 4th time visiting The Reverie since 2020. The hotel still amazes us and the politeness of its employee is remarkable. Once you step in the hotel it feels like you just enter the palace of Louis the 14th. You can feel like a king one day. In our case 14 days. This is also the 50th anniversary of my parents, and they made it very special for my parents. Big thanks for that. It's our fourth installment and unfortunately we also observed some downsides of it. An overview of the in our opinion shortcomings compared to the previous times: 1. No one opens the elevators for you anymore 2. mini bar is only filled once a day instead of twice 3. the floor of the room is not daily cleaned and they missed some areas, you can also see spiderwebs on the chair 4. fruit is only one time (arrival) 5. the luxury small shampoo, body wash bottles are replaced by big refillable bottles in the shower. you miss the luxury feeling 6. the box for the hand towels in the bathroom is damaged, this is not 5 star worthy, damage products feels like you staying at a hostel. Perfection is in the details, and The Reverie is slowly losing it. "
