'We checked in on Christmas Day 2025 and stayed 1 night. The hotel is in the heart of beautiful downtown Red Wing, MN. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and was warm and inviting. We had brunch at the beautiful Scarlet Kitchen and Bar and the food and service could not have been better. The restaurant was busy, yet the vibe was elegantly relaxed. 'We had a problem with our heating and they called someone in to fix it on New Year's Day. Appreciated the prompt attention to that and also the bartender Mitch was excellent and staff very friendly in restaurant. '

'Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall.'
