'The location of the property is a bit tricky to fund but its worth the drive as it's set up overlooking Loch Tay surrounded by sheep farm and mountains. The chalet had everything we needed for our 2 nights. Beds were very comfy! We enjoyed the long walk to the beach, very Scottish, very magical!'

'Le lieu est très cocooning, le chalet agréable donne sur une très belle vue. Les accessoires de cuisine nécessiteraient un suivi. Quid de cet appareil avec compteur branché dans la cuisine dont nous n’avons pas obtenu la fonction auprès du propriétaire. Une caméra sur la terrasse.... Le point le plus gênant est l’enclavement du lieu qui nécessite de faire déjà 30’ de voiture sur une très belle mais très petite route avant de rejoindre un grand axe.'

'Wij troffen het huisje keurig netjes, schoon aan. Bedden waren opgemaakt. Uitzicht is geweldig. HEt enige wat niet lekker werkte was de douche in het bad. Wij vermoeden dat de waterdruk niet hoog genoeg was. Maar ja, er is nog een douche in het huisje dus daar douchen of anders lekker in bad ;-)'

'Cabin comfortable, the host was genial and welcoming. Great facilities, kayaks and paddle boards, swim shoes games room. Wonderful sitting on the deck and watching the heron.'

'We stayed at Cockleshell Lodge for 10 days in November and had a fabulous time. The lodge is right on the waters edge and we would have paid for the view alone. It is absolutely stunning. There are dog walks straight from the lodge and no need to get the car ut all around the Ballimore Estate and we met the "Lady of the House" who told us some interesting facts about the estate. The lodge itself is huge ! It has a great entrance with lots of space to leave muddy boots and coats etc. There are...

'De lodge is zeer comfortable en van alle gemakken voorzien. De omgeving is schitterend! Veel leuke dingen te doen in de omgeving. Het contact met de eigenaren prima! Een aanrader!'

'Views are beautiful, house is comfortable but a little tired. The location and peace and quiet are fabulous, nearest supermarket is 50 minutes drive so come prepared. Perhaps some comfy chairs outside to sit and enjoy the view.'

'Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay.'

'The lodge was spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you would need in a self catering property. The bedrooms were nicley decorated and the beds were comfortable. The views from the living room and verrnada were beautiful. . '
