'Check in and check out we’re easy. Prior to staying, I checked the reviews which said that the front desk provides eye masks to guests due to the dim lights in the rooms being still too bright. However, the front desk person claimed they don’t do that, so bring your own eye mask if you are someone who needs complete darkness to fall asleep. The towels are thin and scratchy so if you’re staying for more than 1 night, be sure to ask for fresh ones daily. Only other complaint is that the water...

'Classic old mining town stay. The bar below is a staple in Rico and the accommodation transports you to those mining times, with wonderfully updated amenities. This is the second time we have stayed here, both times were easy, magical and comfortable. Cant wait to return! '

'The listing lists the bathroom as part of the space, but it is shared. It also does not share that while there is no air conditioning (which fine, that is common in the mountains) there is also no fan or operable windows in the room. My room was 80 degrees when I arrived at 1 AM and there was nothing to be done about it. The hallway is also on an occupancy sensor that turns the hallway lights on and off all night, which shine into the rooms through windows above the doors. '
