'My stay at Hotel Araguaia was excellent. The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Every need I had was taken care of with attention and kindness. 'The room I was given was very dirty. Sand covered floor...strangly they provide you a broom and dust pan to clean the floor yourself.I stayed one night and befriended the owner, he seemed like a good guy, I expressed interest in stay another night, he asked if i pay him directly rather than me using expedia, he said he has to wait for expedia to disperse the money. 'Room not very clean; conditioner bottle was empty; second day: tea, coffee not replenished, some towels missing; took two (!) hours to get the tea bags and coffee. No water cooker in the room (why giving tea bags without the option of boiling water?). Maintenance so-so. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Convenient location. However: Uber drivers could not find the hotel easily. '
