'Due to where this house sits, you have to go up a pretty good incline with loose gravel/rock. You could make it with a 2-wheel drive vehicle from one side, but 4-wheel drive is recommended. Once you get up there, you won't want to leave though...both for the view and then inconvenience of coming back down the hill...so get everything you need first so you don't have to leave again! It was a good stay even with the high winds during our visit. We would definitely go back.'

'Great rustic cabin, very quiet location up a 1 lane private track. Near to cloudcroft. Had a great 1 day/2 night stay. Breakfast provided, which was nice (eggs, sausage, pancake mix). Slept our family of six easily. My kids got a kick out of the composting toilet. I’d stay again.'

'This home is on a corner lot in an up-and-coming neighborhood. We felt very safe there and had plenty of room for all of our things and separate spaces for all of us. Large TVs in each room, fans, a laundry, and assorted amenities made the stay extra special.It has three bedrooms with one two and three king beds in each room, respectively. There are also couches in two other rooms which we only used for sitting, so I can’t speak to their comfort for sleeping. The only thing I would change is the...

'Good afternoon just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our stay at Crows Nest we had a great time and the property is amazing but last night approximately at 2 am someone tried to break in to our tree house. Thankfully Ruidoso Police did go when we called and they found a man that had trespassed the property and they walked him out. If I had any suggestions it would be to possibly have certain contact information of someone available on the property for when there is emergencies'
