'Wonderful property! Everything was comfortable and very clean. Loved that there was a coffee maker upstairs! House is fully stocked with almost everything you might need. The hot springs fed hot tub was great for early morning/late night soaks. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We will definitely be back. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. '

'The Painted Pony is definitely the place you need when you want to get away and enjoy peace and quiet. The beautiful porch’s offer shade at all times of the day where you can sit and enjoy the quiet and nature sounds of the desert. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the pool is the best place at any time of day. Even my teenagers had a great time between the pool, the hot tubs, and the garage filled with activities. The Painted Pony truly offers something for everyone....

'The property is beautiful, well stocked and extremely comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and found the location easy to access, the totally fenced yard felt very private, neighborhood was quiet (other than the obligatory fireworks on July 4th) and we appreciated being able to bring our dog along on the trip. Definitely recommend this host and property, and hope to be able to stay here again in the future.'

'We have enjoyed staying at this location summer of 2024 and again this year, summer of 2025. Property is charming and well furnished with alot of character. We love the safety and privacy that the privacy fence provides as we have a special needs child. We enjoy staying at the casita while visiting Elephant Butte State Park and Riverbend Mineral Springs. Property is conveniently located to both Elephant Butte and T&C. '
