'De kamers zijn vrij ruim en hebben een aparte walk in closet. Heel handig als je wat langer blijft. De kamer zelf blijft dan netjes opgeruimd.
De badkamer is luxe uitgevoerd. Jammer dat in Beijing het water uit de kraan niet drinkbaar is. Het hotel zet echter elke dag twee gratis flesjes water op de kamer. Voldoende om de tanden te poetsen.
Erg prettig vonden wij dat het in de kamer erg rustig was.
Het ontbijt is het hotel prima maar wel duur als je het apart besteld.

The decor is very smart, the services are good and the bedrooms well-appointed. Lovely beds and lovely bedding, smart luxury bathroom. Immaculate housekeeping means the hotel is always spotless. I didn’t like the high tech lighting system but younger guests will probably love it. The best place here is the ‘Beer Garden restaurant’ - a lovely outdoor area which has great food from chef Chen and a great welcome from manager Yanna....

'The Wenjing is one of the better hotels if you have to visit Tsinghua or Beijing university. A bit dated though. For some reason this time the breakfast was included in the price, normally this costs a fortune. If you do not have to be around here I would take another hotel in the city centre, you can get better value for money in Beijing.'

'In principle a good hotel. Had the luck to be upgraded to a suite. However, upon check-out things were in chaos. They needed 5 minutes or more per person to go through a check-out procedure. This is way too long and queues went long, and staff became very stressed. People in a hurry tried to pass the queue. Not really pleasant. They should try to learn from other hotels where you are done in 30 seconds and simplify their procedures.'

'I like this hotel. The staffs are very friendly. They provide many services, like free laundry. 'The style is great. It’s not an overly busy or impersonal hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was super friendly and accommodating when I got there early. My only complain might be that they didn’t check my id card when I said I lost my room key before they gave me a new one but obviously that was more convenient for me. '
