But dirt sticks to your bare feet, a lot of it. There was an old hard brownie on top of the refrigerator left behind. Coffee is from the 70's and sad. One tv in the whole house had to move it from room to room. Laundry room half bath is the best . Both full baths are very very dated. And the shower in one is not even useable. It would not...

'We rented this house for a short visit for the 2024 solar eclipse. Had a great view of the sun over Lake Champlain! The house was perfect for my wife and me with our 20 month old toddler - just needed a baby gate to keep her from dashing up to the loft.'

'The house and property were just as advertised and the views from both floors were non-stop beautiful. Our dog loved the lapping of the water right at the end of the hill. 'The property is woodsy, very relaxing and calming. The cabin is cleaned well, beds are comfy and can get a nice sleep all night. I like the big windows where you can see out into the trees. The kitchen is a working kitchen so you can bring groceries to cook which is a nice perk. The only call out I have is that the water tastes and smells metallic, maybe the owners need to redo the pipes or add in a filter system to make sure the water is safe to use. 'We had an amazing stay at this property. It was perfect for the eclipse viewing. There was 6 of us all together, two elderly, 3 adults, and one baby. It was the perfect amount of space. The location was absolutely perfect and we are even thinking of coming back when it is in season. We enjoyed watching the train across the bay and there were amazing trails and views all along our drive. Very close to Ausable chasm which was another fun day trip. Highly reccomend!'

'I came here to spend Christmas with my daughter and we had a wonderful. The space is beautifully renovated with plenty of room and a nice kitchen to make Christmas dinner. The location is great - close to downtown and right near some athletic parks where the dogs enjoyed playing. We hope to come back.'
