'The resort is beautifully landscaped and private and quiet. These are all attributes we much appreciated. The ladies at the front desk were always cheerful and anxious to be of assistance. It was a good week at Holua! '

'Excellent front desk, service, nice, clean and well appointed room, lovely grounds with huge Koi, pond and garden, and a very nice pool courtyard. There is a park along the water just across the street where it is nice to take a walk and families have picnics in the evening. The restaurant on the property has decent food and nice service. The motel offers many free extras and has a focus on kindness towards people and the environment.'

'Hotelbar bij het zwembad was geen aanrader, bier uit een plastic beker hoort niet bij een dergelijk hotel. Hotel was wel zeer gunstig gelegen in Kona. Ook erg fijn was het gratis (goed) ontbijt wat van het hotel krijgen aangeboden.'
