'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'Very nice place. Just in the middle of nowhere. Cabs to and from town have to deal with a steep, dirt, bumpy, rock-filled road (one night we almost couldn't find it). And because of its isolation, not even able to walk around outside the 10-room facility. But the room, pool, staff, and included breakfasts were exceptional.'

'The hammocks were so relaxing with all the nature sounds and birds singing. There were even howler monkeys and scarlett macaws in the yard. The walk to the beach was absolutely gorgeous and the beach was even more stunning. This was all around such a great stay. Can’t say enough nice things.'

'Our stay here was great, well advertised to what it is. Staff is helpful and kind. Good food and smoothies available at price. Pool was enjoyable and clean. About 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a restaurant beside the hotel so there is a dull sound of music in the evenings. I am a light sleeper and did not find this a problem. Bed is firm but was not a problem either. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. The hotel also had good wifi, so my husband could do some work and also...

'Hotel and staff we very nice. The water did get shut off overnight, not sure why that happened but we know there were rolling black outs while we were there. We were there in off season so pretty much had the place to ourselves. Not being surfers, this really isn't the area for us so we were glad it was off season.'
