'We loved our weekend getaway! Remote location, we enjoyed exploring some nearby trails, looking for wildlife tracks, and wading at the swimming hole. The driving directions were very helpful and while SUV would likely be beneficial on some of the roads, our Subaru Outback did just fine. Accommodations were as described and beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the sunrise and my toddler play in the living room.'

'We enjoyed our stay, and the host, Jeff, was super responsive. The cabin was perfect for just the two of us and super clean. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was for cooking. We also appreciated having a washer/dryer. Others have mentioned this but be aware that the cabin is right next door to a lodge. There was a large group there, but unless we went outside, we never knew they were there. It was very quiet. Just know that you don't have the entire property to yourself. Each building...

'The cabin is an ideal retreat for two with a stunning view of the river. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee with breakfast in the morning, snacking a quick bite outdoors for lunch, and grilling steaks on the deck with a Bud for him and a glass of wine for me at dinner. Fishermen in their boats drifting by, water birds and eagles soared above the river, and song birds twittered in the trees. Indoors was comfortable and cozy. One night we watched a storm roll in from over the mountains...

'Absolutely quiet. Cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay! The cabin itself was fully prepped for us to make our own meals. We really appreciated how it was built and how "at home" it made us feel.'
