'Wonderful property just a 3 minute walk to mid beach. Ted responds quickly to issues/questions. The backyard was perfect for doggy potty breaks and we enjoyed the hammock and tire swing. I will definitely book this home again.'

'My son and I stayed at Desoto Beach Hotel for 3 nights. The room was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfy and we love the fact that we were a hop, skip and a jump from the beach. We enjoyed the beach every day that we were there even though it rained a bit. When the weather cleared and the sun came back out, we were out at the beach again. We will come back to Desoto Beach Hotel again as we come to Tybee as a quick getaway from Atlanta, Ga.'

'The beds are really bad. In general,the whole room needs an upgrade. It's located near the beach.'

'Our initial room assignment was dirty and had a fist-punch mark on the wall next to the sink. I don't think it was supposed to be rented out. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a while. We discussed it with the manager and was promptly moved to an upgraded, very clean, room with a kitchenette. That room was very nice. I've seen other complaints about dirty rooms and am wondering if they aren't properly flagged in their database. The cleaning people were around every day going from room to...
