'Excellent host and property! Philip stayed in touch during our trip to make sure everything was good. Conveniently located near the BART station for easy commute to SF or either airport (Oakland & SF). The neighborhood was quiet and the house is gorgeous on the inside and packed with all kinds of necessities for travelers. 'We had a great time staying at Roland's place for three nights. It's a nice simple setup, clean, small kitchen, two nice bedrooms. Just what we needed for a brief stay while we hit up a nearby music festival. Telegraph Avenue is a short walk away and downtown Oakland a slightly longer walk. All sorts of great food and restaurants close by. Stop by Jebena Cafe in the morning for a great coffee and a Sambosa, or Dan Sung Sa for good Korean and a fun atmosphere.
