'Booked this for my husband. He was working in the area so after a long day at work he wanted to get to his room. The air conditioner didn’t work and his toilet was clogged. The next morning before work he asked for a plunger at 4AM where he was insulted and told he was a squatter and couldn’t be helped. The staff working was beyond rude however the owner Nick, did reimburse us as he refused to stay another night. Just be weary'

'Nice and clean. Neighborhood its not that bad to be located in oakland. I definitely will book this hotel again.'

'Hotels not excellent but not bad either. There were three light bulbs broken but fixed after a complaint. The number of towels are poor as is the quality of the towels. Internet o.k. but sometimes a bit slow'

'Helpful staff can’t complain'

'Room was old, dirty, smelling awful, and NOT clean.'

As soon as we walked in the room our shoes stuck to the floor. That ruined the stay. The furniture was old...a couch in the room must've been from the 70s. There were spots and black hair on the hand towel. The bathtub was nicely and recently retiled. Like I said we couldn't get past the sticky floors. Old is not necessarily...
