Naar Esplanade is het ongeveer 15 min lopen. Wij vonden het een heel fijn appartement en komen daar zeker nog een keer terug als we weer in Cairns zijn.'

'The accommodation is a bit dated. Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable for me and for some reason around 4 to 5pm our room started smelling like we were in a "soup kitchen". I do not know where the smell came from, if there was an actual kitchen closely or if it was the hotel kitchen, but that was quite uncomfortable for us. And it was strange that you still had to open the door with an actual key?!
For the rest, nice and friendly staff and they have lots of options for tours in the...

'It was a really nice hotel! Located at the Marina you’re at all the best places within a 10 minute walk. Close to some great restaurants and shops & right at the reef docks. Room wasn’t that well cleaned upon arrival but it was definitely made up for the next day! The man who helped with the luggage is also a living legend!'

'We had a truly wonderful time at By the Sea in Port Douglas. The hotel is very conveniently located at the main street with various shops and restaurants at a walking distance and also the Four Mile beach is only a few steps away. The hotel provides any beach supplies you can think of and the staff is very helpful and welcoming.'

'De kamers waren uitstekend. Heel ruim en netjes en een nette en nieuwe badkamer. Het in- en uitchecken verliep erg onpersoonlijk. De sleutels zaten al in de deur toen we aankwamen. Daar kwamen we pas achter toen we na een aantal keer bellen eindelijk contact met iemand kregen want er was niemand meer bij de receptie. En bij vertrek moesten we de sleutels gewoon in een bak doen. Dat was jammer maar het verblijf was prima. '
