We had our dog with us as well. At the pool it was not allowed to have her, but we could walk down to the beach in 2 minutes where she could stay all day long with us.
The hotel is little old-school, little rooms and simple setup, I would say a 3 star if we are stricter. Definitely not a 4star hotel when we compare it with other hotels from big cities..'

At the top, Gioconda who surprised me with cutest birthday cake; Matteo and Mario who brought it to me upon my arrival at my breakfast table and Fabio who gave me all the pieces of information I needed with a big smile. 'We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Marelba! The staff was very friendly and at least one of the them spoke very good English. Our room was with a perfect view to the inner court yard, with beautiful palm trees! The room was clean and simple, just enough for us for a perfect holiday on Elba!
Cavo was a nice small town, with nice restaurants and the time we stayed there, it had even a small festival to amuse us.
We recommend the hotel and Cavo for easy travelling. It is easy to reach from...
