'To start of with and most important: the staff is simply amazing. We stayed for 4 nights and Angel and Aldine made us feel right at home. They catered to our every need and are simply such lovely people that talking to then brings a smile to your face. Our ranger Sipho made sure everyone was comfortable and took us on amazing game drives. With his remarkable ability to spot anything and track animals we did not miss any wildlife. Amazingly enough he even tracked down a white rhino.

Not as luxury as hotels such as say lion sands which is twice the price though you get all the comfort you need given how busy the days are. If you plan on spending more time in the hotel / room maybe look for more luxury but the balance of comfort and access to the park was perfect for us as first time safari travelers

'This was our 5th visit to Elephant Plains. It's the most affordable option in the Sabi Sands and an excellent place to stay. Since our 2022 visit, they have updated the rondovels. They're super comfortable with everything you need. Staff were great. They seem to have simplified the food options (an improvement) and the quality is great.

'We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at Nkuhlu. We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival from Hazel and the team. The staff were always professional and ensured our safety sleeping in an unfenced camp- we were visited by hyenas, civets and bushbucks each evening and could hear lions and all the other bush sounds but never felt unsafe- a special thanks to Whisky and Aubrey! The tents are clean, super comfortable and equipped with everything you need and more and the linen and towels...

'Buckler's Lodge is located right along the Crocodile River. We saw large herds of elephants each day we were there. We received excellent service from the staff and enjoyed clean and roomy accomodations.'

We stayed at the Geiger Camp, which is smaller and more intimate. Our daily host Octavia and his staff made sure that absolutely everything was perfect.
The Rangers Brian and later Godfrey gave us very good tours with very interesting information.
The location remembers of old times of Hemingway with veranda, library, fireplaces.
They advertise with "you come as visitor and leave as friend" and this is so spot on!!'

'This is an exceptional property in the Manyeleti Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park. It is a magical place where Impala's roam the property and the elephants come to drink water from the pool. The "tents" are very nice with toilet facilities and showers and comfortable beds. The food was good, but the staff are the best! They do everything they can to meet your needs and wants. Everyday there are two game drives into the reserve where you can get very close to amazing game...

"Heerlijk accomodatie, van alle gemakken voorzien. Als je buiten eet, let dan op dat de apen er niet met je eten vandoor gaan.
De zwembaden waren koud, maar dat is gek in deze tijd van het jaar.

"Very friendly and helpfull staf, beautifull view of sunset on the hill. Very spacious room. Breakfast was perfect. Diner was great. The bar makes perfect cocktails.
Beds are good and exceptional good cussions (not always in hotels). "
