'We choose this accommodation after reading the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The accommodation is worn out, the room and especially the bathroom was very filthy. We were given a tour and the communal kitchen was also filthy. The mattress of the bed was also rock hard. 'I had a really relaxing stay at the Sea Monkey. I was in awe of the breathtaking views, and spent much of my time relaxing on the outdoor hammock enjoying the weather and location. The staff were quick in responding to requests via whats app and were super helpful! I enjoyed the little town that was accessible by foot and appreciated that this was also just a 5-10 minute boat ride to other activities. I so cannot wait until I get to come back again!'

'The greatest aspect of the place was the fact that your bedroom opens up to the sea and you can wake up with a gorgeous view. Stacey was very helpful and accommodating in many ways. The hike to Wizard Beach was rewarding. '

'This is such a cool place! Beautiful surroundings and a unique experience. It is rustic, but a fun adventure. You must climb up and down quite steep stairs to get to the bedroom. Unfortunately, we had lots of rain, so took the water taxi into town and did some exploring. We went to red frog beach. Beautiful! Staff are nice. Food good. Not many vegetarian options, but overall good. We kayaked and snorkeled. Beautiful! I highly recommend. '

'Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is right on the water. It is on a smaller, more secluded island, which is only a 2 minute boat taxi from the main island. 'Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. 'What a lovely escape. Its was what we both needed. James was very accommodating. The area was quiet and had a small kitchen to cook. Its right on he water the waves put you to sleep. If you really feel like an adventure take the kayaks to Zapatilos islands only 5 K away! if you are a good paddle it takes on hour. I will come back on my next visit. '

The first night it was a disturbing noise around 11:30 pm. m. and the next night it was a loud noise again around 4:45am. m. and 6:40 a.m. m. (same day).
