The area is very industrial, but the location is excellent if you are interested in Louisville Cardinal football stadium (across street) and very close to Churchill Downs(1/4 mile). As is the case in areas like this, redevelopment has a way to go, but Homewood Suites is a good addition. Would definitely stay again. '

'Great property— clean, modern, and very comfortable beds. Only drawback is there are no coffee makers in the rooms. We have stayed there twice. The fist time, the barista did not show up for work before we needed to leave for the airport; and the second time, the barista was waiting for coffee beans, so there was no coffee. A true disappointment for this caliber hotel. Otherwise, I highly recommend it!'
