'The property was well maintained. It showed a bit wear with the age but it was very clean so that wasn't a factor at all. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but was kept well stocked. Coffee was really good as was the apple juice. Rooms were very comfortable and large. '

It was during the carshow parking lot was full but he took time to help us park .We got our keys , went to the room only to realize it only had one bed . Went down to talk to him about it , he apologized got another room immediately , apologized again , thanked me for being understanding . 'goed hotel, maar jammer dat er geen ramen openkunnen en dat airco, airmovement apparaat voortdurend aanstaat. Naast hotel staat een Cracker Barrel restaurant welke voor breakfast geweldig is.

'Everything was amazing, but there are lots of stairs. If you love Victorian homes and bed and breakfasts, this place is for you. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place. The food was great and I loved getting to walk around the park and see Shakespeare. It has modern touches like WiFi, air conditioning, and a bathroom in each room.'

'The staff all went above and beyond for us. Ricky found us a room very early, since we were dropped off the Cruise ship at 8:30 AM. Shuttle drives were friendly, seemed to 'like their job".
One problem. The SQUEEZE SOAP,ETC. They are cute,etc, but not for us elderly with weak hands. It took both of us squeezing top and bottom together to get a little bit. Maybe have some bar soap to offer if the guest looks like they may be interested.

The in-room fridge kept our drinks very cold, which was great considering how hot the weather was while we were there. 'This hotel was very nice good for families. It was walking distance to the Kentucky Convention Center in Louisville. Food was close by. The hotel was clean and whenever we asked for anything within limits it was taken care of. Breakfast was not free which is unfortunate but for the most part I did not care. I was there with my daughter and mom for a basketball tournament. I was happy!!'

Our military son who just finished advanced camp was exhausted and had to repack to fly out early the next morning. They let us check in early and accommodated us on everything whether it was needing scissors, info on anything from laundry to dining and more. I highly recommend this hotel and tbeir staff. And, they had waffles...made my day!'
