'Hotelbar bij het zwembad was geen aanrader, bier uit een plastic beker hoort niet bij een dergelijk hotel. Hotel was wel zeer gunstig gelegen in Kona. Ook erg fijn was het gratis (goed) ontbijt wat van het hotel krijgen aangeboden.'

'This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement . Having the bbq’s there as an alternative cooking option was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again next year and hopefully secure the same unit as we did this time .'

'The condo is conveniently located parking was easy people at the desk were friendly. The condo I rented, 207, could use a little updating. It was nice and clean. The view is spectacular. '

'The place was very nice and in a great location. I found it strange that the host came by an knocked on the door an hour after we arrived (I had to jump out the shower to answer) and then asked me 5 times to let her know when we planned on leaving via text and with a note even tho the listing said checkout is at 10 am. Was a bit overwhelming and unnecessary. '

'We had a nice four night stay and we would come back again. Kitchen and beach access were good.'

'Nice location - just a couple blocks to the beach. Plenty of dining options nearby. There were a few minor issues with the plumbing - bathroom faucet, shower drain and the office was closed during the holiday weekend so we couldn't report until check out. I assume they will be resolved by maintenance right away.'

'Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. The bad: communication was awful. Don't know if the problem is with the owner or RedAwning. Most units are welcoming (flowers, complementary chocolates, coffee, and welcoming reminders about check...
