'Nice weekend'

'We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. We hope to return! 10 out of 10 all around!! '

'This is our "go to" place to stay when we go to the Blowing Rock area! We love Chetola! We have stayed in the lodge as well as the inn. They are both wonderful and the property has so much to do! It is in a great location I'm already looking forward to going back!'

'Spaciousness and view the best things. Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress.'

'Beautiful site. A great get away. Lots to do in the area. One could easily spend a week or more doing various activities as well as visiting the local businesses and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. There is a winery and a bakery nearby. The cabins are unique well built and very comfortable. You can really enjoy the natural setting right by the river. The host is great! 'The concierge, Zack, tops off the stay, and makes guests feel special. It is so important to get good advice for a city and you will be very impressed with the service you receive from Zack, just like you would receive at a fine five star hotel. The property is lovely, the pool can use a little updating, however, our stay was early in the season, so I’m sure improvements were coming. '

'I highly recommend this property. We visited Boone for a college tour. It was a perfect location. If my son ends up in Boone this will be our go to property! '

'This is a very quaint and comfortable little motel. If you like nostalgia, this is the place for you. It is a throwback to the old style motels. The room was clean and the property was well maintained and quiet. Easy to walk to the shops, park and restaurants in downtown Blowing Rock. The only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the pillows are flat. We would definitely return for another stay!'

'Cozy little cabin. Just right for our family of 4 to stay while visiting App State and tour the area for a long weekend. Only complaint was having an inspector wake us up the morning of checkout due to a communication issue from someone he was told the property wouod be vacant.'

'The property is in a very nice setting withe a brook flowing through it. It is in walking distance to Main Street. The beds are very comfy and the pool and gym very nice. It just needs a little makeover. '

'Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!'
