'I love staying here. It is in a pretty country setting, yet convenient to where we want to be. They have easy, no fuss, check-in and out. Just go to your room when you get there and it's ready. Leave when you're ready. The little store and bar are nice.'

'Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through.
The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive.
The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as you’ll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience.'

The property is in impeccable condition. Both the rooms and the outdoor/common areas were exceptionally clean. We especially enjoyed the pavilion and fire pit, where we had the chance to meet other travelers and swap stories.
You can’t beat the location of the Hemlock Inn. Blowing Rock is incredibly walkable and full of charm. My wife and I strolled from one end of town...
