'Would have liked to have talked to someone at some at some point. I always ask about places to see, points of interest, local hikes, etc. Also, an ice machine in the office would be a great addition. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing.'

'This was such a quiet and clean place. It was perfect and the view was nice.'

'Super kamer. Prima voorzieningen voor mindervaliden.'

'My wife and I had such a romantic time here!'

'Worst motel I have EVER stayed at in 65 years! Filthy, disgusting room. Shower head was not attached to the tub!! NO bar in closet to hang clothes! Light above the sink didn’t work BUT buzzed all night. Somebody was allowed to do a major truck overhaul next to the handicapped spot- totally unsafe. I left after one night even though could not get a refund. The parking lot looked like a war zone. I cannot understand how the owner has the audacity to even stay opened. IF THIS WERE THE ONLY...

'Beautiful setting! Unique property Rustic yet sophisticated. Food is outstanding Music on the porch on Sundays is wonderful'

'Had a wonderful stay. Was pleasantly surprised to find the property was very private with no houses or other people around. The pictures of the property don't quite do this spot justice. Loved that you could also hear the nearby creek as well. I'll be back for sure.'

'Beautiful area, clean, and spacious. A'

'Cozy place with great location for hiking at Grayson Highlands. The only issue we had was that the refrigerator was very noisy.'

'Things could use a good dusting.'

'This is a gem of a modern Scandinavian remote country cottage. The landscaped fire pit patio, and large covered front porch are very comfortable outdoor areas. Indoors has everything you need including a very comfortable and deep bathtub. We were a group of 4 friends traveling to hike at Grayson’s Highlands and thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.'

'Great stay! Kelly was a great host.'

'Wonderful experience all around. The house was as shown. It felt cozy and like home. I would definitely stay at The Carolina Place again!'

'Condo was very clean and roomy plus it had a three level layout which would work well for guests with children. The home is in walking distance of downtown. Our stay was great and would stay again!'

'The house was exactly as on the website. We felt nestled away in the woods. While it felt secluded, we close to the main street, a grocery store, winery, and West Jefferson State Park. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.'

'Thank you for hosting this stay. The property was beautiful and peaceful.'
