'The hotel and the beach were nice. It was disappointing to learn that even though we are Diamond members with Hilton that none of our benefits were honored because we booked the trip with Expedia. I understand that they wouldn't give us points, but usually we feel a little special when staying at a Hilton and that was not the case here. We had paid for an oceanfront room and they gave us the room that overlooked the ocean as well as building material, trucks and equipment used around the hotel....

'I rarely write negative reviews, but this stay at Nobu Hotel was a full miss—and not a close call.
First, it is wildly overpriced for what you get. A simple double espresso was $12, which is a good proxy for how everything is priced on property. And because there is effectively no off-property experience unless you’re willing to take a 45-minute cab ride, you’re completely captive to those prices. The result: you end up spending a small fortune just existing there.

'Stayed here mainly because the location is excellent — very close to the beach, marina, restaurants, and easy to walk almost everywhere. The staff was friendly and the overall area felt lively and convenient.
However, the rooms are very outdated and the biggest issue was the strong unpleasant smell inside the room. We had to keep the balcony door open most of the time because the air felt very heavy and uncomfortable. Without fresh air coming in, it was honestly difficult to stay in the room...
