'Where to begin with this amazing stay? My husband and I went for a weekend to run the St. Michaels half marathon. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place and the Oaks Waterfront surpassed our expectations. The property is impeccably maintained and, Linda, made us special early breakfast bags for the race since we would have to leave at 5AM, before breakfast service. 'The Annapolis Inn exceed every expectation! The owners are absolutely fabulous. The property is gorgeous and exceptionally appointed. Alex is a gourmet chef who left us wanting more each breakfast. Joe is a tremendous story teller and you will want to sit for hours listening and conversing. Both are wonderful and kind humans who gave us their undivided attention and complete care. 'The rooms are rather old and in need of a refurb: blinds on window (in two separate rooms) did not work, and in both rooms the safe was broken. I had to ask on three separate occasions to have house keeping clean the room and replace towels etc. House keeping eventually cleaned my room on the 4th day, despite the first request on day 2. This is not a low cost hotel, and I expected better. I would not stay here again'
