The hotel is older, but the room was clean and did not have the awful chemical clean smell we so often experience. The front desk staff were very helpful throughout our stay. And they do not charge for parking which seems to be the latest way hotels are trying to soak their guests for additional monies. My biggest beef was the "restaurant". Located in the lobby, you feel like you are doing exactly that. Eating in the middle of the lobby. Much could be done to improve the lack of ambiance. We had looked at the menu on line, but when we were ready to order after sitting down, none of the items were available. We settled for an order of wings, which were ok. My husband ordered a gin drink which was in an 8 oz rocks glass. He said it was good, and decided to have another. We were stunned when we got the bill to find the drinks were $18.00 each. Ridiculous overpricing. We didn't think it would be necessary to check on the price of a well liquor libation. Bad form. In conclusion, we would definitely stay there again, but will definitely not utilize the restaurant.
