'My only complaint was that despite a 12:00 check out time and “Do Not Disturb Sign”, house keeping loudly tapped on the door ( 6x each time) beginning at 9am and an hour or so later. They continued to tap until we woke/verbally responded, each time. 'Mooie ligging. Heel schoon. Zwembad beetje verouderd, maar bedjes en stoeltjes mooi om even te reflexen. Jammer dat er geen plek is voor het ontbijt. Buiten wel, dus met mooi weer geen probleem. Ontvangst was heel goed en behulpzaam! '

It turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel is clean, the rooms spacious and quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and is also an excellent starting point for trips to New York City and Long Island. Highly recommended and I have booked another stay for the fall.'

'Econolodge is a budget hotel (in spite of the 150 pn) and the rooms were clean, sufficient towels. The householdstaff was friendly, the bathroom clean. There was a microwave and a fridge. We were very satisfied in spite of the noise of the ac which we switched off. At a ten minutes walk there is a good Stop n Shop'

"Good place next to time square, clean hotel, good beds, rooms for 4 persons aren somewhat small if you have suitcases, but doable. Breakfast is proper and included (just missing basic options for bread such as cheese and ham).
The elevator situation especially around breakfast time is terrible. There are 5 elevators for over 30+ floors. If you are below level 20 there is a fair chance that you have to wait +10 mins for a elevator thats not full.
Further is the rooftop bar not just to but you must take a table. Outside space is limited, while inside the airco is on turbo.
Staff in general is nice, there is a basic but well maintained gym and they offer taxi services in case u need one to the airport. Conclusion, eventhough the elevator situation I would return."

It’s the perfect base for exploring New York, with major attractions and public transportation all within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the $100 per hour charge for late checkout, which felt a bit steep. That said, we absolutely enjoyed our time here and would gladly come back!"
