Rieten Ierse huisje in een prachtig en rustig platteland

WELKOM bij Adare Irish Cottage, op slechts 3 km (2 mijl) van het pittoreske dorpje Adare en 14 km (9 mijl) van de stad Limerick, in het hart van het prachtige en rustige Ierse platteland.

Dit perfect afgelegen traditionele huisje met rieten dak bestaat uit 3 slaapkamers, waarvan 2 met een eigen badkamer, een goed uitgeruste keuken, een prachtige zitkamer en een privéterrein met gazons en fruitbomen.

De Cottage is het hele jaar door te huur. Ideaal voor diegenen die willen ontsnappen aan de drukte van alledag met toegang tot alle voorzieningen in het dorp Adare.
Adare ligt op slechts 40 minuten rijden van de luchthaven van Shannon.

Een bloementuin en binnenplaats versterken het zomerplezier terwijl de gezellige interieurs een speciale sfeer van warmte en comfort creëren in de winter.
We zijn blij om de Cottage te boeken voor langere familieverblijven.
Toegang tot uw eigen boomgaard aan de achterkant van het pand stelt gasten in staat om te ontspannen en biologische appels te plukken tijdens het seizoen. Er is een grote afgesloten ruimte rondom het pand waardoor het erg veilig is voor kinderen. In de omgeving biedt een werkende boerderij de mogelijkheid om boerderijdieren en wilde dieren in hun natuurlijke omgeving te zien. Toegang tot het pand is via beveiligingspoortjes, voor extra gemoedsrust.

Adare heeft twee uitstekende golfbanen, waaronder het kampioenschap Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort, dat in 2007 en 2008 de Irish Open organiseerde en de wereldberoemde Ballybunion Golf Course ligt op slechts een uur rijden. Er is ook een uitstekende Pitch & Putt-cursus in Adare.

Lovely authentic cottage in a rural surrounding

Beautiful authentic cottage. The house is very clean, well maintained en very well equiped. It is situated on a working farm, however privacy and tranquillity are guaranteed. Nice private garden. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. We will certainly book this cottage again.

This SURPASSED our expectations!! The host, David, was SO HELPFUL and his doggies are pretty damn cute! The cottage was cozy and had the perfect Irish charm. The wood stove was a big plus for the chilly evenings and the laundry access was so appreciated! We would go back IN A SECOND! It was hard to leave. THANK YOU David!!

Amazing! A true hidden gem. Our family loved staying at the thatch cottage which was clean, comfortable, and great place to reset after a long day of sightseeing. David was extremely helpful. My teens loved hanging out with Jake and Ted who welcomed us back to the cottage daily. We didn’t want our stay to end and will definitely return.

David was a wonderful host! And the cottage was just what we were lookling for - quiet, quaint, authentic, but with some modern amenities. Close enough to town for groceries and restaurants/pubs, but far enough away to allow for peaceful evenings at home when we wanted. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Our stay at the cottage exceeded anything we could have imagined. David, Joan and Mike were the most gracious hosts, checking on us several times to see how we were getting on. Absolutely perfect lodging for our trip to Ireland

We spent 5 nights at the thatched cottage to use as a home base for day trips to Southern Ireland. It was like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences!! The large farm was peaceful and so much fun to explore. The property was close to Adare for stores and restaurants but yet so private. We did love being visited very day by the two dogs!! Lastly, David was so responsive, helpful and a pleasure to handle everything during the rental. We highly recommend this property.

Charming cottage in pastoral setting

Accessed by a rural lane, the traditional thatched-roof cottage where we stayed near Adare is full of authenticity and charm, and surrounded by a cottage garden with a sunny terrace, roses and arbors. We took walks along the farm lanes, carpeted with daisies and bordered with white flowering hawthorn hedges and cow parsley, Quite idyllic, and well situated for visiting ancient stone circles, ruined priories, and the bustling historic town of Adare. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

Magical!

The grounds are breathtaking. The host and their two dogs were wonderful. This is a very old cottage and needs some updating like new furniture and mattresses. The beds are not comfortable, but our stay was magical! The area, the garden and the people made this a wonderful family vacation that we will remember forever!

Wonderful stay

Our stay at the cottage was a real delight. The farm atmosphere was a great change from town life. The cottage is located near Adare in County Limerick, so a trip to town was just minutes away. This cozy cottage was so welcoming! We loved how meticulously well looked after this historic space was. All the thick walls and comfortable beds made for a great night's rest. We enjoyed visiting in the sitting area with tea and the home-made scones. Our hosts were very hospitable.

My Ireland Dream

When planning this trip one of my goals was to stay in a thatched cottage. This was perfection. From the greeting we received from the owning family, to the wonderful homey decor, to the cows in the pastures and Jake and Rollie the corgis it was the ideal setting. Enchanting Cottage

This wonderful 300 year old cottage is more even more beautiful and charming than it appears in the photos. My family loved our stay: snuggled up on a rainy day inside in front of the fire, sitting in the stunning back garden, eating meals prepared in the modern (but tight) kitchen, and wandering around the lovely farm. Joan and David were very welcoming, and they immediately replied to any queries.

Lovely Irish Cottage

Lovely Irish Cottage in Adare. My sister, nephew and I always wanted to stay in a cottage Adare. My sister and I were born in Limerick. This was a perfect location to visit the family and take some road trips. There is a hotel across the road with two great restaurants. Joan and DAVID were so accommodating. The cottage was adorable and there was lots of open space on the farm to roam around and see the animals.I look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you Joan and David!
