Punching far above its weight
clean, spacious and polite staff. a delight all round. was way more than i expected for 60 quid a night. Could not afford to eat there and so was delighted with the plethora of cheap eats around the hotel

Quick trip to Fujairah
Family Friendly place witih a ever helpful staff going out of their regular duties to ensure you are comfortable during your stay there . Ample parking with easy access to most of the main attractions in and around town . A well stocked buffet counter and the staff following all due protocols ensured that we were well attended to . A definite recommended place for a family anytime.

Stayed in March 2019, very much enjoyed.
Staff is very cheerful and efficient. Check-in went in seconds as did check-out. They have changed the carpets in rooms, so no more suspicious stains :-) Loved the bathroom and the shower. Although, the top shower was a bit clogged. And the iron was leaky. My favorite bit about the hotel is the Book Store bar.

The rooms were very clean and luxurious. The pictures of the facilities are however not to be trusted as the view from the pool looks over what looks like slums. The sports bar and the people allowed within it do not make you feel very safe. The bookclub bar is much better and special in that respect.

Dear Valued Guest, Whilst we are very pleased you were happy with your room and impressed with the cleanliness we are sorry you were not happy with the view. As you will know Fujairah is currently undergoing a massive construction project to improve the roads in the city and this has impacted on a lot of the surrounding land. Although it may be a bit of an eyesore at the moment when completed we are sure it will all be worthwhile. The Novotel and ibis hotels where the Sports Lounge is located are both manned by security 24 hours every day, you are very safe staying with us and if you ever feel to the contrary you only need let one of our team know. Whilst we are delighted that your stay was great and you awarded us the highest rating we are sorry about the carpet. Despite rigorous cleaning we have been unable to remove the stains due to a fault with the anti-stain treatment so please do not feel the carpet is dirty. Although it does not help your stay we started to replace the carpet last week and due to occupancy this will take at least a few months to complete. Excellent Hotel overall. I can’t say enough about he staff. Incredibly professional, always have the answer with a smile. Unfortunately the carpet in my room was in dire need of a shampoo or replacement. Otherwise, the room was very clean.

bugs living in pool 30+.. a guest found them.... a few days later same thing happended and hotel did not close pool.. Life guards stay inside in air conditioning watching from door... Hotel gym is full of kids.. staff never go into gym to check anything.... smoking downstairs in lobby... guests leave room doors open have kids running from room to room.. management does nothing.... hotel lobby smells... smoking allowed downstairs.. hotel management lax and do not manage... best to avoid.... not dubai standard

Dear backtodubai, We are sorry you had a disappointing stay with us. Please allow me to address your concerns. Finding waterboatman which I hasten to add are completely harmless was a surprise but we dealt with the situation immediately and since have had no other incidents. The water is treated continuously and readings taken three times a day to make sure it is compatible with the rates authorized internationally for protection. We insure there are at least 2 lifeguards on duty at all times and whilst one may at times be inside to escape the heat you will always find another outside. Coffee and a cigarette is a traditional pastime and although I appreciate in many countries smoking indoors is no longer permitted until it is made illegal in the UAE we may have no choice than to continue to allow it. I have noted your feedback along with others and will make this a priority for discussion with our owners. Your other comments I will address with the relative teams so we can work to manage our operations better. Please accept my sincerest apologies for in inconvenience caused. Your experience is not indicative of the standards we aspire to offer and certainly not what the majority of our guests have encountered.
