'I had checked out this hotel ahead. they gave me a newly refurbished room, it was quiet and clean. Its a short drive to downtown. I didn't walk it but i believe you can. I was attending an event at navada fairgrounds in grass valley it was perfect just 10 mins. '

'This property is really a hidden gem of a hotel. The rates are very reasonable and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The property even has a natural waterfall and a fern grotto which is extraordinary. The rooms are older but very clean and well maintained. Also the beds are very comfortable. The room also has a small refrigerator and microwave. All in all this is a place you should really consider. I know i would definitely come back. '

'The lodge is located in the forest! We enjoyed the trail right next to the highway that is easy and meanders through the woods! The breakfast is more than a continental one with hot eggs potatoes and sausage. My room was upstairs with sumptuous king bed but no TV. My other party had our dog in a pet friendly room with two queens. His room had jacuzzi tub; mine just had shower. Overall great property!!'

'My fiancé and I took a last minute trip and this place was perfect. Freshly renovated, we booked the room with an open ceiling. I could tell it was newly remodeled just by looking and smelling. The nice young woman who I believe is the owner was very gracious and accommodating. It’s walking distance to old downtown which has plenty of restaurants. The parking lot can be a little tricky due to the design and space. I highly recommend this quaint inn and hope to make a return visit. '

'Had a really lovely 4 nights at the inn. Owned by a really lovely and friendly couple. Room was a good size, with a big comfortable bed. Plenty of bedding and towels. You get to use a lot of the property as well as the room. There is a front porch, a back room with amenities for tea/coffee, fridge, ice, microwave etc. You can sit inside there or down the stairs where there is another fridge. 'Had a nice stay here over the weekend! The staff is very friendly and quickly accommodating to any needs. The lodge is tucked away in a quiet, but not too secluded spot, so it’s very easy to find, yet is in a safe area & away from any busy traffic.
