'Pyg Pen is a beautifully presented and a well equipped property, with everything you could possibly need. It’s situated in an ideal location for day trips and exploring the local area. Property has an enclosed back garden which is ideal for dog owners and plenty of parking in front of the house for more than one vehicle. Lots of places to visit in the local area. This was our third stay in Pyg Pen and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend the property and the area.'

'Nice and clean just as described we had a really nice time here. Nice view of the sea from front of the house in a beautiful little fishing harbour. '

'An excellent four days. The house is roomy and furniture very comfortable. Parking in the drive was easy. Well stocked kitchen - pans, crockery, cutlery etc. The attractive village and two very diverse but excellent pubs serving food are a short walk from the house.Liz was an excellent communicator responding quickly with answers to questions. She has provided plenty of information about how things work in the house. Would recommend. Thanks Liz. '

'Beautiful holiday house, nicely decorated. Cute village with quite some options for dinner and tea. Village shop/post office is nice for the basic groceries. really liked the delicatessen shop down the street. Beach at 5 minute walk. Also parking was easy'

'We stayed with two friends at Hide Away cottage. Everything in the cottage was as expected. We were blessed with wonderful weather so were also able to have a drink and a couple of meals in the garden ( about 40 meters from the cottage, it seems most gardens are slightly away from the properties in Craster ) and the view from the garden was lovely. '

'Had a wonderful week, my first visit to Northumberland which was enhanced by having a beautiful place to stay.'

'Beautiful property, clean and immaculate with more essentials than we needed!. Lots of space for us all and plenty of bedrooms. Lovely garden and view of the distant sea.Downstairs shower tray may need some attention as not draining away very well.....otherwise all excellent!'

'We were in town to see the Alnwick Gardens, and this home was perfect for that - roughly 15 minutes door to door. Also easy walking distance to Barter Bookstore, and several restaurants and grocery stores. We have 5 people, so having separate beds and 2.5 bathrooms was a great size for us. We cooked. We did laundry. We sat on the back patio enjoying the weather and the birds. Property management was responsive and helpful. Absolutely would stay here again, when visiting Alnwick. '

'Cottage location ideal for exploring Alnwick on foot .. everything within a few minutes walk. Cottage pretty and very well equipped . Parking easy, enabling us to leave car most of the time but use it for visits to the coast . Was also ideal we could bring my little dog .My mother had a great time. Thank you'

'This home was charming and perfect for our days in Alnwick. The location was outstanding. 2 minutes from the bus station and grocery store made life so easy. The lounge and kitchen were spacious and gave us lots of space to spread out. Our kids had a blast playing foosball. The beds were comfortable and there was enough wardrobe space. It would have been helpful to have a few more supplies of extra towels and bathroom essentials. Alnwick is the most delightful city to visit. The castle has...
