'We stayed in the Garden Cottage for a week and cannot recommend it for longer stays. While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. Our issues started at check-in when our entry code failed, and no one answered the phone, forcing us to communicate solely via text. Upon entry, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana, the bedroom closet door was broken, and a ceiling fan blade was hanging...

'It's a motor hotel, so you know it's not fancy when you book it. What made it great was that it clean, the staff made a very late check in (1AM) very easy, and it was much more reasonable price than other hotels in the area. It's a no frills but very clean and well run place. Would definitely book again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff too.'

'Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit.
