'A terrible and deeply disappointing stay at Residenza Gennaro. We felt misled by the description and the information provided by the owner. The advertised 12-minute walk to Amalfi harbour took us approximately 45 minutes, involving hundreds of steps. We counted around 600 steps just between the property and Hotel Santa Caterina, roughly halfway along our route to the harbour. The strenuous access, especially returning uphill, should be clearly explained before booking. There was no working...

'The views from this villa and their pool are incredible! It’s a very charming, quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby towns. Excellent restaurants a short walk away, and the service from Alessio and his team was top notch! Highly recommend this villa, and would love to visit again!'

'Location was fantastic and booking one of the executive rooms with the terrace access made the stay great to be able to come back to mid day and relax in a quiet place without feeling trapped in a hotel room. Air Conditioning was good and shower pressure was nice. The bathroom could use a few hooks/shelves as there was no space for anything there. Adding a couple of lights out on the terrace would also be a nice touch. It was pretty difficult to find but once found was great. Communication...

'Awesome location. Great stay. The buses are super easy to catch if you jsut wave your hand. The walk is beautiful. A little distance but not too harmful. Loved our room. It was clean and the ac worked great. Highly recommend'

'Het was geweldig; mooie locatie perfecte uitgangspunt voor excursies super behulpzame en aardige host prettige kamer met mooi uitzicht. alleen maar lof voor de eigenaar. Zou het iedereen aanbevelen en zo weer gaan'

'Everything was great. Well designed room and really clean room, very comfortable bed and hospitality was great. Location is ideal, close to the beach and good ferry connections. '

'This B&B is really well maintained, our room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. The view is worth every single dollars (and steps!). We had the chance to have breakfast on the balcony every morning, with the sunrise. The staff is super kind and helpful too. There’s also an adorable black cat called Mimi who lives outside and who loves to receive cuddles. She will also greet you everytime you come by. We really enjoyed our 4-nights trip at Villa Carlotta and would absolutely come back.'
