'Excellent place. We arrived around 12 and our room was not ready yet, because check in is at 2 or 3. We took some coffee and snacks in the garden and when we’re done the room was ready. The city is tiny, so it only takes 5 minutes to get to the center. Copan ruins within walking distance too (15-20min). You can enjoy a glass of wine or beer on the terrace in the evening. Breakfast was very good as well, as other reviews were saying. There is a massage service too, but we didn’t have time...

'This was a great place to stay while visiting the copan ruins. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and were able to accommodate myself and my father very quickly. We also had a great view of the mountains from our room and I took full advantage of the hammock. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place to others visiting copan. '

'Blanca, the owner is an excellent host. She prepared us delicious breakfast, and the room was very clean and you feel at home. She us very friendly and we had very nice conversations with her. We totally recommend this hotel and has a beautiful scenery like a postcard!'

'Iguana Azul is well-kept, with clean facilities. Community room has lots of info about local things to do, and a big fridge. Next door at their sister hotel (La Casa de Café) breakfast was large, fresh, and tasty, plus they had a menu for later in the day. Located just a few blocks from the lovely Central Park.'
