'Fabulous small hotel in the heart of Chania Old Town. 5 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. The owner was very welcoming and let us check in early. My friend and I stayed for one night. There were 2 double bedrooms very tastefully decorated. Tea and a coffee pod machine were very welcoming as was the water in the fridge. I don’t sleep very well, the bed was so comfortable I had a great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be booking it on my next stay in...

'A great stopover location for our first night in Crete. We arrived too late to collect our hire car so wanted a hotel near the airport to make it easy to return the next morning. Booked a double room and was given a two bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchenette and patio overlooking an excellent pool. Communication from the owner in advance of arrival was excellent. Service on arrival was first class. Be aware there is no catering or bar onsite, but there is a Taverna about 10 minutes walk...

'This was one of the most charming, beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Veronika went out of her way to help me get my suitcases up and down the steep stairs, gave me great local advice for food and adventure, and was super professional, polite, and friendly. The view from my room was exceptional. The only drawback was the noise level. I would stay there again. If you stay there, you must eat at Tamam - about a half block from Vranas!'
