The service for the most part was great. Check in was nice. The breakfast was great. The only thing I did not know about was that they were doing construction on the hotel and that the pool would be closed. I usually pick hotels based on pools as I like to take my child to the pool. Other than that, we did get to stay in a newly remodeled room which was great.

The property is undergoing a major renovation. This important fact was NOT featured on the Expedia website when I booked this property. I feel that this is a deceptive practice. The rooms were not cleaned regularly, the entrance lobby was blocked off and when I didn’t fill out the breakfast form by midnight there was no solution. This property should be closed until renovated.

The hotel is under construction. Had I known that I wouldn’t have booked there. Bathrooms outdated, has cracked tiles and wallpaper peeling. The fridge did not work and our food went bad. The breakfast area and lounge were boarded of with ply wood. All day there was construction in the room above with saws, hammers, etc. I’m sure when they are done remodeling it will be fine.2/24

I'm so sorry that you had a bad experience with us, we have tried to alert everyone upon booking, and during the check-in process. We will be fully done with renovations around May or June of 2024, please come back then and let us wow you.

Property was undergoing repairs and many facilities were not available The staff were lovely I would suggest providing complimentary water in guest rooms The bed was comfortable overall but I suspect two singles were joined and the mattress sagged at the sides Location is good

The lady that checked us in was RUDE, we had our grandbabies with us as they wanted to go swimming for a bit, which is why we picked this hotel, the hotel was under renovations, she said very rudely to us, there is no pool, no pool at all, you cannot use the pool because we are renovating, even my youngest grandbaby (5) said well you don't have to be mean to tell us. Maybe take your options of a pool off your website and expedia for those expecting a pool, and teach that lady some customer service

The place was under construction. I would not have stayed if I knew this. The breakfast was not great. "Grab and go" no hot food unless you microwave it. The heater was loud and never shut off. It was either blowing cold air or hot air at all times. The tv stations were very glitchy and kept freezing. The shower curtain didnt stay closed so water sprayed all over the bathroom. Lots of things needed repair. It was not a bad experience i guess...but I wouldn't stay unless the construction was done.

Customer was great. The person at the front desk explained the construction/remodel. It was disappointing to find out that the pool/spa was not working and the breakfast was extremely limited due to the construction, then per the front desk person, the order didn't arrive in the morning for breakfast.

Alaska Anniversary Do over
My husband, a disabled veteran, and I live remotely in Willow Alaska. For our 31st Wedding Anniversary we drove 100 miles for a relaxing few days by the pool and hot tub. Breakfast on site. Some tlc from Alaskas unrelenting winter. At check in they say, oops, no pool, no hot tub, no gym, no breakfast!! So we get to our room and it won't get warmer than 60°.... So they move us downstairs into the lobby that's under construction next to the front door with a broken drape and no tub.. a trickling shower.. breakfast was a Jimmy Deans frozen sandwich and yogurt.. nothing to drink! So at check out I asked to speak to the manager and the young lady identified herself as the asst mgr.. I explained my feelings with kindness.. it wasn't her fault but no one has followed up. I didn't want a refund just to be able to come back when they fix the pool...

Most of the amenities at this property were closed during my stay, which wasn’t mentioned when I booked, so my family and I weren’t able to use the pool or hot tub which is the main reason I chose this hotel. Wallpaper was falling off the walls in the bathroom, dust was piled up in the corners, and the front desk staff was incompetent.

I have the worst experience ever I stay there for two days and I can’t sleep because of the horrible noise that the people upstairs made, I talked to the front desk and they didn't do anything and my son didn't want to sleep because of the noise, the worst experience I've ever had, In the two days that I was staying I was not able to rest well with my family, if I had known that I would not have chosen that hotel, it was my first time in that place.

I called to find out what time the pool closed and the staff was rude. They said since I booked with a 3rd party I couldn’t be notified. Staff never apologized or gave me a discount or anything. Even the workout room was under construction. Lesson learned call the hotel personally before booking with a 3rd party.

The charges for the room seem to change and the lady couldn't tell me why and when I checked out I had to be very persistent to get a receipt for our stay. The lady that worked the breakfast area was excellent as she gave us very helpful ideas for breakfast combinations and also made sure everything was filled and had a very nice personality.

Our first room’s AC didn’t work and the room was 80 degrees. When we were leaving for dinner, the receptionist was supposed to send someone to fix the AC. When we returned from dinner, the room was still 80 and ac not working. They sent us to another room at 11pm. We had to repack all our things to move. This wasn’t easy with 2 young kids. Very inconvenient.

The room was not the one we requested nor what was on the email print out. The counter staff went as far as blaming us for doing something wrong. We showed her the reservation print out. Also the toilet was somewhat clogged and several lights didn’t work. Some of the staff was friendly.
