'The staff was excellent. The hotel was clean but the ac in our room gave off a slight smell of mold. The ac was set at 78 and it was raining in Houston, so one can expect the room to be initially damp. However, all through the night I was coughing. At a minimum, the ac needs to be cleaned and the filter exchanged.'

'Bath towels were really small and thin. No cold water in sink. Fridge didn’t work. Breakfast was basically a waffle or slice of bread. Front desk lady wasn’t very friendly. Floor tiles were popped all over. Bed blanket felt like a plastic sleeping bag. Lots of road noise. Wouldn’t recommend'

'Nice hotel in the same parking lot as a coffee shop and numerous food places. The only issue is the window, there is no second curtain so you’ll have to leave it closed or people can see right thru. Breakfast was muffins and coffee'

'The room itself was clean, but the overall experience was disappointing. From the lobby to the hallways and even inside the room, there was a strong musty, mildew smell that never went away. We stayed in what I believe was Room 206, which was advertised as having a “private hot tub.” In reality, it was just a standard bathtub with jets, not what most people would consider a hot tub. 'The exterior looked far better than the interior. The interior, including the 3rd floor hallway, wreaked of urine and smoke. The room itself didn't smell of urine and smoke so that was a small relief. The bed did not have bed bugs, but my usual search for bed bugs (I do this at every hotel no matter what) revealed a mattress so old that it was probably original to the property. Staying here was a mistake.'
