'Wir waren auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Erholung und haben genau das in Biscoitos gefunden. Wir waren im Winter vor Ort, wo die Azoren mehr oder weniger ausgestorben sind, und es war wundervoll! Das Haus ist groß, perfekt ausgestattet, mit Kamin, Grill, einer Küche mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Die Betten sind bequem, die Atmosphäre ein Traum. Einfach herrlich!'

'Posted pictures don't do the property justice. It's super modern, clean and comfortable. The backyard area is sweet and the location is convenient to a variety of local sites and attractions. Andre was a kind and thoughtful host. No hesitation recommending this rental.'

'Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy , we were welcomed with a basket of goodies. The location of the property was awesome. The property was very big which made it nice for the kids to run around and burn energy. The swings were a hit for our kids as well. The pool was nice, the hot tub wasn’t very hot, it would have been nice to have some sort of control to heat it up some. The sauna was awesome and easy to operate. It was a little uncomfortable sharing the outside property...

'The location is noisy on summer evenings due to its location above a beach bar and popular beach. Kitchen vent and three of the four gas burners were not operating properly. Many of the light in the home were burned out. Without opening the windows there is no air circulation (no fans or central air). Keeping the windows open, which is necessary given summer humidity and temperatures, increases street noise in the house. The king bed is terribly uncomfortable, so we ended up purchasing mattress...

'The property was everything we expected and more. Ana Maria was amazing and very responsive to all inquiries or question. I would recommend this property with 5 stars! I would not recommend those with small children as it is her home and there are breakable items on shelves and tables. Thank you Ana Maria!!!!!'

"The Shipyard Angra was an amazing place to stay and explore the island of Terceira from. There is a spacious garage underneath the hotel where we parked our rental car. The room was amazing, they upgraded us from a studio to an apartment, so nice! Spacious, with sitting area, a kitchen and a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed and automatic curtains. There were robes in the bathroom and rituals soap. The staff was very nice and helped us arrange a whale watching tour. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of variety to choose from. At the end of our stay, they even gave us a late checkout!"
