'Loved the place and Vinnie was amazing Everything we asked for, he attended to immediately. The place was large, clean and the beds were comfortable. The cooking utensils could do with some updating, but it was all fine. Trader Joe’s was a mile and half away and Safeway about a mile. For some great walks go to the Briones-Mount Regional park and the Del Valle regional park. Lots to do if you don’t want to go in to San Francisco.'

'Pull into the garage - it's a tandem and fits two cars - a huge plus for us. And while there are a ton of stairs to haul luggage up and down the property is very nice. Main floor (actually the 2nd floor - garage takes up the entire first floor space) features a bedroom/bath plus kitchen and living area. 'Great little house to use as a home base to enjoy Lafayette. Quiet neighborhood. Great kitchen, comfortable bed and nice yard for the dogs. Communication with the owner was seamless. If you need to use the AC - just push hard on the on button until you hear the beep- that was the only issue I had - but once I figured it out, it worked great. Would definitely stay there again.'

'Property owner lives right next door. Was greeted with bottle of champagne. Owner was very accommodating. Keep in mind this isn’t a party pad. These are neighbors that come and go very early to work the next day.'

'Wonderful property. A few pros and cons: 1) Pro: Location/view are absolutely stunning 2) Con: A bit of a mouse problem, we were cleaning up quite a bit of feces and they even ate our food. Owner is trying to remediate, hope it goes better for the next guests 3) Pro: New hot tub! The view from it can not be beat 4) FYI: Long single lane road to property. Was a bit scary around the blind corners. Still worth it.'

'Paradise Island was perfect for 5 friends and I. The secluded and private property has multiple decks from which to enjoy the water on three sides. It is every bit as nice as the photos at the website. The hosts, Melanie and Rob, were responsive and great in every way. Will definitely be back.'

Be prepared to bring ALL of your own amenities including your own towels, soap/shampoo, flat sheet, hair dryer, coffee maker, cooking tools (there is no stove/oven, only a microwave), dishes/utensils (if need more than three sets of utensils, three plates and two mugs), paper towels, toilet paper (if need more than one roll).'
