'Enjoyed one night stay in Rm 6 (yes all the guest rooms are numbered). The apt comes with kitchen, batch room and a bedroom with a queen size bed. Besides, there is common area you share with other guests including the balcony and the basement. Clean, warm and convenient location to The PA Grand Canyon Lookout. Bill the owner is the greatest host you can find! Absolutely recommend this place.'

'Poor breakfast. Choices were instant oatmeal and cold cereal. Breakfast items were never restocked the 3 days we were there.'

'Clean, comfortable stay with nice views over the field.'

'Beautifully and artistically constructed log cabin, very kind and welcoming owners.'

'My fiance and I stayed here for the weekend for his birthday and had a great time! The room was very clean and extremely quiet(almost too quiet) with a great view of the mountains and foliage. We only had a few issues, one being that the bathroom door didn’t shut all of the way which is super uncomfortable when you have to use the bathroom with your spouse in the room. Two being we were unable to control the temperature in the room and we were extremely cold the entire time we stayed there....

'Like the ambiance as well as the decor! The location was perfect for walking around town!'

'We were so excited to go stay at the Shadowcrest and it completely exceeded our expectations! The host was so wonderful and the room was beautiful and so comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!'

'The property itself was minimally decent for a ski stay and staff at Lodge itself were nice. However, the furniture and quality of traveler's comfort (especially for fall colors) was minimal. VERY SOGGY beds and futons for sitting. Trip hazards that were unmarked entering #15 and at entrance to bath! I wouldn't choose to book it, nor recommend it.'

'Very nice owner and staff. Bar/dining area cozy. Generous breakfast potions.'
