'The individual room needs updated! We had a balcony suite and all we could see was trees and solar panels! We noticed rooms where being worked on. Noisy! Staff not real friendly except for the door men. The outlets to plug in phones, etc where in terrible condition! Will probably not return to this hotel as it wasn't worth the price we paid.'

'Very clean and nicely furnished for such an old property. Our room could have used a good scrubbing on the bathroom floors b/c the grout and tiles were dirty. The shower could use re-caulking around the glass shower door where it meets the bathtub to get rid of a bit of mold, and the tiles in the shower could need to be sprayed with Tilex and scrubbed. Those are all minor things, but could improve the room a lot. Overall, very satisfied. '

The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good.
