'Wauw, this is an amazing property with atmospheric home furnishings, beautiful paintings, cosy bedrooms with stunning views (Every morning was a new surprise how Loch Duich was showing itself through the bedroom window!) and the property is very quiet and beautiful situated! 'We had an amazing stay at Park Cottage! The cottage had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. We were also very happy with the charging point for our Tesla. This made our stay so much easier. We were most impressed with the amazing view from the hill in the backyard. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful nature of Skye. Also enjoyed diner in Portree. We only had a not so friendly relationship with the midges 😅. Would love to come back some time!'

'We spent a few days on Skye and this property was perfect for us. It is a modest property with stunning views. Even though it's in an area with other homes, it doesn't have any homes close and the views are uninterrupted. The hosts were very communicative and I felt that if we had any trouble they would have been right there to help us. However, we didn't encounter any problems and enjoyed out stay very much! 'Our stay here was perfectly timed in the middle of our trip, giving us the peaceful place to rest and recharge...not to mention wash clothes. 'We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. 'Exceptional property! Heatherland looks like it came out of the pages of a storybook. Perfect location to explore Skye from! The cottage was super clean, roomy, very quiet, with views for miles and miles. We would strongly recommend Heatherland to anyone travelling to Skye.'

"Dit hotel is te duur voor wat het biedt. Ons diner was zeer matig. Een heel klein stukje vlees en een berg aardappelpuree voor ca 30 euro vond ik erg tegenvallen. "

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
