'Great hotel with excellent view on the Arenal vulcano and the lake. Many trails to hike, we saw a lot of birds! Employees in the reception are nice, in the restaurant really good! If you are lucky like us thereis a cuati visiting the breakfast place and a group of 15 spider monkeys who are travelling just in front of the rooms through the forest. We enjoyed our stay in several ways that much!'

'Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :) '

'We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Check-in was extremely easy, the free breakfast was fresh and service was great. The AC was great and staff responds super fast using their WhatsApp. Location is amazing as it’s super close to El Salto and the waterfall but avoids the noise of downtown La Fortuna. 'Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here! '

'Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!'

Kamer was eenvoudig toe aan onderhoud veel lawaai en geen blinderende gordijnen waardoor een goede nachtrust niet lukte uiteindelijke een dag eerder uitgecheckt vanwege dit alles. Niet het geldwaard!'
