'I booked a room because it was reasonably priced. And there was no availability in my price range in Stratford upon Avon or Lemington Spa or Warwick. The town is tricky if you are using public transportation. As the buses cut off leaving Stratford upon Avon very early in the evening. So if you want to get back to alcester you would have to take a taxi beyond that point. Buses when I was there in early July only run once an hour. The pub seems like a nice place. But that's not why I was there....

'Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.'

'The places was not well equipped, with it being over 30 degrees- only a small fan was placed in room. The windows did not open fully. No water placed in room knowing it was going to be hot. The outside needs update and not what the photos show. Breakfast was nice but.'

'Breakfast was excellent, rooms are clean, warm and comfortable which makes for a good night sleep. Restaurant is convenient, food is of a good quality, prices are competitive and the staff are polite and efficient. All round great experience. Well done Boot Inn'

'Fabulous stay. Staff were so helpful, shepherds hut was gorgeous and the setting was just so peaceful! This will most definitely be the first place I book when travelling to this area again!'

'Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. They eventually resolved the issue and we managed to sleep, despite the very hard bed In the morning, the kettle was not working so we couldn't...

'Everything good. Only minor issues were the shower had no hooks or shelves to put shampoo or shower gel or flanels/scrubbing. And the cooling fan in our room was super noisy, so couldn't be used. As I say, minor.'
