'The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bill extensively explained to me what to see in Stratford, while I enjoyed some excellent home made fruitcake. The room is equipped with kettle, lots of tea bags, instant coffee, instant hot chocolate, and biscuits. Breakfast is fabulous with prizewinning home made jams. All together amazing value for £55 single occupancy. Only downside is the slightly long walk to the town centre.'

'Our host Lucy was most welcoming and helpful. Short walk into downtown Stratford. The property was extremely clean. I would say the room was small but the wonderful breakfast (the best we have had in our 2 and a half week stay in 7 different hotels in England) made up for that! The breakfast room was a cheery way to start the day too! Highly recommend!'

'Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property. '

'I booked this hotel for a last minute mini break for myself and my best friend. The hotel was the cheapest i could find with decent reviews so we decided to go for it. The pub is quirky and welcoming, with a selection of board games, the hotel is dated but all in order and well kept. My ONLY criticism is that the bath room had had a wipe over but i don't believe it had had a decent deep clean in a while. Otherwise, for the price, it was brilliant.
