'We had a wonderful stay in the snow! The barn is well-appointed and comfy. Loved the sauna on those chilly evenings after a long day sledding at the nearby sno-park! The house has a bunch of games, instruments, and warm tea … perfect for family time when the snow is really falling! 10 out of 10!'

'This is a great house, we really enjoyed our stay and learning about the house. We usually need a much larger space with 4 bedroom for the family of 5 to be comfortable but this house worked out great for us with the kids loving the little cubby in the wall beds. There is only one toilet in the house but we managed fine. The precaution I would give to others is that the bedroom with 4 beds is up some very tall stairs so careful planning to have anyone without long legs and strong quads staying...

'This is a WONDERFUL place to stay at during a visit to Ashland. Perfect for two adults. Four would be tight, but workable if you know each other well. The place was clean and well prepped. Easy walking distance to the OSF theaters as well to the Railroad area for Noble coffee and additional food opportunities. Sarah, one of the owners, was quite helpful and extremely friendly. This is one of the best places to stay in Ashland. 10 out of 10 rating! We have already signed on to come back next...

'Very happy with stay overall, but downstairs unit 1 was very loud. We could hear their footsteps upstairsclearly and we could hear the toilet flush with it's gush of water each time.'

'It really is a quiet and peaceful cottage. Very cozy and well thought out. Small but well equipped kitchen. Lovey private back garden. The upstairs is very spacious with sitting area, extremely comfortable bed and an extra space that has a desk, many books, and a record player with tons of records. Communication with the host was excellent. I will definitely book again when in Ashland!'

'Yes! The host was incredible! She answered any questions almost immediately! The historical house itself was the standout. Right at edge of Ashland downtown, walkable. Plenty of sleeping & private areas. Cooking and very cute kitchen nook were fun. It was a BDay weekend for my sis & niece & we enjoyed!!'
