'this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience. Our check in should only have been in the afternoon, but we needed a place to change into our gladrags for the morning part of the occasion and Carol, very kindly got our room ready early in the morning. 'We had a really lovely night here. We came up to stay for a sports competition. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and made a special effort for us to have an early breakfast. The rooms were fine and clean. The rooms are basic but it's a good price for it. Beds were comfy. We ate in the restaurant, and the food and service was fabulous! Would happily stay again if I was in the area.'

'The photo in the review is not the apartment we stopped in. The apartment we stopped in is definitely getting a little tired with a few repairs required however it has everything you want and nothing you don’t need. Would recommend for those transiting through Mansfield. The area (given I grew up there) is one of the better areas of Mansfield and the property is gated so nice and secure.'

"Pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. While there are a few areas of wear and tear, I found the room to be comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep. We would definitely return to this location, if needed, in the future. No info about breakfast because we didn’t need it but you are conveniently next to a service area so there are options available. You do need to walk to these, it seems, because upon leaving the hotel in our car, the only way we could go was towards the exit to the highway. There is a small fee for parking overnight. "

" Het hotel is goed gelegen in het centrum, met een standaard ontbijt inbegrepen. Er zijn genoeg restaurants in de omgeving op loopafstand. De reden dat ik geen vijf sterren gaf, is omdat ik een kamer had geboekt met een groot bed, maar ik kreeg een kamer met twee bedden. Bovendien was de bureaustoel doorgezakt, wat het lastig maakte om met mijn laptop te werken "
